"Staying at the Helm's Inn has possibly ruined it for other hotels and I will miss many of the features that Helm's has that most don't. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate with so many great features like blinds, blackout curtains, a kitchenette with everything we needed for a relaxing morning to have breakfast in our room. My mom loved the bed so much and slept so well she joked about taking mattress home. And the location is amazing! So close to many things...

"The Parkside lobby is spectacular with high ceilings, glass walls, coy fish pond (they provide food so you can feed), ample seating to enjoy the lobby, a Resturant. The pool is large enough to do laps. We stayed in a 6th floor one bedroom facing the city (it was loud), the unit was extremely clean, comfortable, well maintained, eco friendly (provide eco cleaning products, recycling/ compost), unit had laundry machine (they supplied pods), bedroom was large, comfortable king sized bed, closet,...

"Fantastic location and always a beautiful view. Daff are lovely and the food is good but the price is very high for the level of the property. That said I stay here often when I’m on the island it is a great go to. I just try to avoid high season when the price is not match the level of comfort. I will return again soon and I already look forward to it."

"The host was quick to reply, but the price seemed high for the experience. The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable and I spent most of the night trying to not roll into the middle of the bed towards my husband. The parking on site was VERY tight with 5 rooms and barely what I would call 4 spots so we had to park off site. The room was very small and there was no where else on site to relax. Thankfully we only need the room overnight and got in late and left early."

"Great location, impeccably clean rooms, carpet looks new, great view from the 18th floor bar/ restaurant, excellent staff, etc.. the pool, hot tub and gym are clean and have all the equipment you need. Note: pool and gym don’t open until 6 am, but gave me an excuse to sleep a little longer."

"We enjoyed our stay, and we were really happy to arrive and hear that our room had been upgraded for the one night we were booked to be there! The staff was helpful and responsive to help out right away when I thought we needed extra bedding…but it was already in the room:) It was a great location for downtown walking distance to the waterfront and to Chinatown. Lots of nearby shops for groceries etc. There is a parking garage close by that was only a few minutes walk and very reasonably priced...
