"This place is a real gem. The bedrooms are large, quiet, full of all the amenities you need, inc dressing gowns and full of character. I believe that most of the rooms are themed based upon connections with the surrounding area . The evening food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent as well as the service from all the staff. "The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Despite being next to the A34 my room was quiet. The location was actually good and only a 5 minute walk via the service station car park to the bus stop at the park and ride. "

"Rooms were good, breakfast was good and fresh, parking costs £7.00 a night with there discount but I don't think you should have to pay if you are staying there. Staff were good one inperticular his name was kit, he found out it was our 44th anniversary and he bought us a drink. "
