"The house suited our needs, however the lounge was upstairs although on the plans it was on the ground floor and we had elderly parents who couldn’t climb the stairs. We arrived to overflowing bins which smelt very bad and they weren’t sorted until the following morning. The photographs are clearly out of date as the accommodation is tired and is used as a HMO."

The house has had a lot of love put into it and it’s great that the original features and building methods have been preserved. The house is well equipped and cosy. "Stayed in two different rooms as I had to unexpectedly extend my stay. The staff are absolutely lovely, and very helpful, room service and restaurant are both excellent. I would recommend opting for one of the “deluxe” options, as there is a significant difference in room quality compared to the standard room. "

"Its a beautiful infrastructure, loved the cabins. Ig was quite good, but just a rug, centre table and some wall art would spruce up the place massively. The space was quite good, secluded, hot tub was amazing. It was all well cleaned but there was a moist/damp sort of smell which was a bit unpleasant. Overall very good stay would go again. However spa was a major disappointment. I chose this place as I like to have a spa evening on each day of my trip after all of the roaming around. Was told...
