"When something goes wrong there is no one to sort it out. We arrived Tuesday late afternoon and found our tv was not working, we told the girls cleaning the rooms the following day as we were leaving who made the comment “ that’s another one to add to the list “"

"Three ladies in a group room for 4. The service was good to start off with however we were booked into room 108, which had several splats and pool stains of blood on the walls and carpet. The double sofa bed had a soiled single duvet and no cover and everything was set up for two. We had to make up the spare bed. Under the bed is covered in dust. Needs a good clean! "Lovely stay, good food, great service"

"Lovely place by the river, at the time we have had a heat wave so with no air conditioning a little uncomfortable a cold shower sorted that out. Food in the bar was ok and reasonable price, so overall not a bad one night stay."

"Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was kind and courteous. Room was brutally hot with no Air Conditioning. I asked for fans and they provided up to 3 fans but they just circulated very hot air. I eventually resorted to removing all my clothing and wrapping my body in a wet towel in an effort to get some rest. "We have been visiting the property for 18 years, it is a great location and a nice place to stay. However , if you take a room with kitchen facility, you would expect basic stuff like cutlery, plates etc there was nothing! Bathroom no shower gel or shampoo. This day and age you would expect basic things like that."

"Good sized room. Unfortunately, as seen in many other reviews, the aircon was not working properly in the bedrooms. We heard others complaining too. Also a lingering unpleasant smell in one of the two suites we booked, and missing crockery. We have received a partial refund, but this issue really needs to be resolved, as it's clearly been going on for a while."
