Our favorite place to stay when in town visiting family. Out of the way enough to feel residential, but literally just a couple of minutes from shops and restaurants. Rooms are always clean, staff is friendly, and breakfast has all the usual favorites.

Overall nice stay

Our overall stay was nice. Only a few callouts had to be made which it should have been communicated upon check in that they do not clean rooms daily, it’s every 3 days. We had to bring our towels down to front desk & exchange for fresh ones. Also the rooms are not well insulated because we could hear the snoring & convo of the people next door. Also I called to see if they would allow for an earlier check in & was told only if you’re a Marriott bonvoy member & if a room was ready at 2pm. So we had to wait until 3pm exactly to check in, so unfortunately they are not accommodating if you’re not a member.

Clean, safe and friendly hotel

We were in town for a wedding and very glad to find this hotel. It was a very nice, clean and relatively new hotel. I can't stress enough how good that is for this area. Houma is a lovely community of good people but the area is still recovering from a serious hurricane a few years ago. It's also a bit of an industrial area. You don't feel any of that in here though. The service was friendly. I felt safe. Everything felt clean and in good condition. Our beds were comfortable. The AC seemed locked out no matter how you adjusted it. That could also be user error on my part. I would have liked some hand lotion in the bathroom but that is minor. Overall, we certainly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
