We celebrated our 49th anniversary and had informed the hotel. We were wished a happy anniversary at check-in and given access to their executive lounge. A VERY nice fruit and cheese tray with a bottle of wine was delivered to our room. One day we came in to a nice towel arrangement with chocolates on our bed. The room was nice and we thorough enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott Houston - Galleria.

I like the fact its a well known international brand and easily accessible to shops, restaurant snd banks. I gound it very convenient. Cleaners were active. Not enough food variety though.

I was in town for the Houston half marathon. Originally, I booked the wrong JW, however I was able to change the reservation to the correct location and it was very accommodating. It was very convenient. Hotel was clean and friendly service.

Excellent location and nice presence. However no valet or bellman came to help with car or luggage. Inside only one front desk person. Finally rooms were average not a JW standard. Some areas were frankly old. I think the hotel has great potential if they raise their customer service standards and inside decor . Also redo bathrooms to bring them up to standard. It would be an excellent hotel .

Kendall who checked us in was amazing. We were traveling with our two young daughters. Once getting to our room with early check in, our neighbors apparently thought it was spring break at the sandpiper beacon. I told Kendall the music was absolutely blaring at 3 pm in the day. 5 mins later security advised them to turn the music down . Clean facility . Easy access to the attractions in Houston . Shuttle willl take you 2 miles from the hotel for free.

Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. I wasn't informed about breakfast choices and ordered room service which was not very good, The next day I used the breakfast buffet.
