"The location was wonderful and very convenient to the metro and all the places we wished to visit. We will definitely stay here on subsequent visits to DC. The kitchen was well kitted out with everything we needed, dishes, utensils, large full size fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, stove top , dishwasher and small washer/dryer, which was everything we could wish for and made it so convenient for our stay. No dead bolt. I realized immediately upon check in and returned the keys to the building lobby attendant, and I called Global asking for a refund because I need to stay elsewhere for a secure stay. Global Luxury’s final response is that they “advertised the room type correctly online” and won’t return my money....

"I hope you do not have any issues as the customer support rep spoke to me with such a nasty disgusting attitude it made it the worst experience I’ve had while traveling in a long time. When I asked to speak with the manager he told me the managers don’t accept calls from customers. When I asked for the email of the manager he refused to give me that and said they didn’t allow customer emails either. "Unfortunately, the place was not clean. The bed had what appeared to be animal hair in it.There was hair and used eye contacts on the floor. As it was the evening, when I discovered the dirty bedding, I slept on the couch the first night. When I contacted the host the next morning, they didn't have anybody working as it was the weekend.So the solution was that I change the bedding myself. Which was fine, if I at least had been given a bit of a discount on my stay. Which was mention by the host....
