"Update from my original review: I did speak with the district area manager, who was very professional, understanding, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I truly appreciated that level of professionalism. That being said, my experience at Kompose Residences Houston Cy-Fair was disappointing overall. The property is aesthetically pleasing and definitely looks great for social media, but beyond that, the hotel lacked functionality and convenience. The elevators were either completely broken or working intermittently during my stay. Watching elderly guests walk around trying to find a working elevator was honestly heartbreaking. I personally had to carry all of my luggage up flights of stairs. The hotel policies also added to the frustration. I requested fresh towels and was told I had to bring my dirty towels downstairs first. I have never experienced that at any hotel. The ice machines didn’t work, and even pool towels had to be requested from the front desk. While the rooms are decent and the common areas look beautiful, this hotel simply did not provide the level of comfort or service I expected. Had there been flexibility with the strict no-refund policy, I would have checked out early and stayed elsewhere. Overall: beautiful appearance, disappointing experience."

However, there seems to be an issue with the toilets, mine would back up very easily, even with minimal use. I’m not sure if this was just my room or a more widespread problem. Aside from that, it was a nice stay overall."
