"This is a self catering apartment hotel situated in the Old Town right next to Hull Minster and within a 15 minute walking distance of virtually everything including the station. "Amazing hostel. I really enjoy my stay here. Owner Glenn is so helpful, resourceful and kind to have a chat. The volunteers Kasia and Dan are lovely to talk with. It feels a very cosy hostel, not too crowded, noisy and neither a party hostel. I was visiting for tourism and leisure and while many of the guests staying here for work or business, there were no issues. And Glenn kindly helped to sorted out a minor issue in the room very effectively. Just a note there is no stove but a microwave...

"The room was a fabulous size for the two of us. It had a kettle, a decent size shower room and was all very light and airy with a tv. The staff were really helpful and looked after our luggage for us. The bar was lively after the concert we attended and I believe there were parking options but we came on the train. It was such a handy location for anywhere around the centre of Hull. We would definitely book again as a fabulous base."

"Stayed here as it was a good price. Very convenient for the arena and shopping but not a hotel I would go to for anything but convenience. That said, it is a city centre 3 star so I wasn't expecting any luxuries. Clean enough though very basic."

Reception happy to store luggage securely on check out which was handy before my train. The rooms are spacious and warm (weather was cold outside overnight), beds comfortable and clean. Overall I found no issues, and especially at this very reasonable price point I’d recommend."

"We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. "
