"building is very old, though apt is considered clean. dryer is broken and could not be used. when I informed the receptionist regarding this matter, she told me that other guests had informed her days before and she thought the dryer will fix itself. Dryer was one of the reason we choose this property. will not come back. "

So a huge thanks to her. The biggest let down was the later check in process. We did speak to the front desk in the morning and the explanation was details weren't readily available through Expedia when booking on Expedia. "When I booked I wasn’t told that the hotel was undergoing renovation. The breakfast was poor, cold scrambled egg, mini sausages floating in oil, orange juice from the machine looked like cloudy water, and all for 13 euros. I asked if I could have a kettle and was told I could rent one for 10€ per day, I told the concierge that I had one the last time I stayed, he told me the reason I didn’t get one was I booked through Expedia. I’ve used the ibis in hero Square three times now and every time...

"I did not get the room I booked which was one of the more expensive rooms. They moved me to the room I booked the following day but not until 5 pm and I was leaving at 4 am, so the suite with terrace was not worth the price. NO UPGRADE OR compensation for the hassle and inconvenience other than 2 drinks on the house. The Nespresso maker was outfitted with knock off pods which tasted like cigarette ashes. Fortunately, I had the genuine Nespresso pods in my suitcase. Is that even legitimate….did...
