"We liked the clean room and the great view of the pier and the ocean. The staff was awesome and super helpful. Wi-Fi is good throughout the hotel, and it provides beach amenities (surfboards and longboards, bicycles, chairs, umbrellas, games, and more). They have a really nice gym and a rock-climbing wall that we didn't use (wish we had), and we're not sure whether there's a pool. We purchased a breakfast package with our stay. "I truly enjoyed the closeness of the beach and the views out of my window! The proximity of the pier, the amazing sunrises and sunsets! April in Newport Beach was perfect! I kept the windows open and enjoyed all of the sounds! I found the place easily and the parking! "The room was clean. The beds were comfortabl but the pillows were so thick they caused us stiff necks. Day light could be seen between the door and frame. We went for breakfast once but it was disappointing so we didn't bother with it again. There was very little seating in the eating area and it was miserably hot anyway.
