"First room was dirty with dirt on the floor and bed. Second room had dirt on floor and greasy floor. I had to find the cleaning lady to come clean under the bed and there were food wrappers, balls of dust, food, and a huge screw. Fire alarm woke us up two nights during stay after which we decided to check out early. Staff is aware of the alarm issue and apparently the showers don’t have proper ventilation and frequently set off fire alarm. Too bad because the location was great."

"I liked that it was clean and modernized. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping could have came to bring more fresh towels/ clean the room more often, but when asked they came right away. I would come back! Nice area and good service overall."

The only downside was having to pay $60 for parking. Considering the cost of the stay, I feel that parking should either be included or offered at a lower rate. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Despite the parking fee, I still give this hotel 5 stars because it truly was an amazing...

"Steps away from the pier, beach and shopping. The room was super cute, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very simple and that was my biggest worry booking a hotel by the beach. We parked in the meter parking at the beach to spend the day at the beach then checked in and quickly and easily moved the car to the hotel parking right after check in, which had valet, so easy! We are talking about booking this every summer from now on."

"This was a great place for what we needed. A bed and a place to shower. The rooms are older, not fancy, but adequate. The breakfast was fine but not anything special. For what we wanted it was great. The price for the location was awesome. We don’t spend time in a hotel room, we are out doing things and at the beach. We wanted a clean shower and a bed. We got both. We will definitely stay there again but if you need luxury and top amenities then this isn’t the place for you."

"Nice choice for a budget room in the Newport Beach area."

"Way overrated...location is all it has going for it. Embassy Suites is better for a full service stay. They put us, who booked through Expedia, in a second floor room overlooking the parking lot lol...possibly the worst room they have, when it wasn't even crowded lol. When we went to check out they said the "system is down" and couldn't correctly check us out. A 3 star resort at best. Don't expect a 5 star experience."
