"They have a handicapped parking spot that blocks 2 other parking spots and makes it really difficult to pull in and out of the other three spots. And of course a huge SUV was parked in this handicapped spot making it very difficult to get in and out. The room was relatively clean. There were some large stains on the carpet. Everything seemed a little dusty. You can hear all the cars and motorcycles, driving down PCH.So, it makes it a little hard to sleep at night."

"The staff was very polite, friendly and helped me with everything I requested. We enjoyed the pool and the gym. The hot tub water level was extremely low. It barely covered half your stomach but it felt great. Our room had many missing chips of paint on the walls. The shower itself worked fine but the tub drained very slow so the tub filled up while you showered. The negatives do not out way the positives so I would stay there again."

"After seeing the photos, I booked 3days, for my business trip. New Owners have turned the old Harbor Bay Inn into a “Go To” place for a simple, well appointed room. Every room is remodeled (less than 6month as of this review 6-2026). Everything is new! Not just refreshed or painted over. Very impressed. "Check in was fine. Very few amenities on the property and in the room. No clock in the room and I didn't receive maid service. If you are a light sleeper like me, you might be bothered by the traffic noise. I could hear it clearly. But otherwise, it was OK. I did have a refrigerator and microwave which I used, so that came in handy. And always had plenty of free parking."

"Me and my boyfriend love coming here from Palm Springs! This motel 6 is waaaaaay better than the ones in our valley in Palm Springs. This place is CLEAN , BED IS COMFORTABLE AND ALL OF FD STAFF IS HELPFUL. we come here to be close to the beach!! Our new comfortable AFFORDABLE STAY."
