Nice, big room and bathroom with instant hot shower water. With a view to the sea and everything within walking distance: the beach, the pool and the restaurants. Food has been of very good quality at the main restaurant, and a visit to the a la carte restaurant is recommended. The day activities and the night show were really good. The marinas downtown are very nice with cosy cafes and restaurants and it's only a short ride with a tuk-tuk. Overall, a great experience!

Everything was excellent. Check in (Mr. Mossad) was quick and easy .. our room was fantastic, Taha from room service was very nice. Everyone in the restaurant went out of their way to help us and provide anything we ask for .. beach was great, animation team was good too.

A wonderfully holiday

It was a wonderful hotel. The staff were very helpful, informative and polite. The beach and both pools were easily accessible, with plenty of chairs and shade.

The hotel is in summary to expensive for the holiday experience. For going kite surfing you have to pay extra even if you use your own staff and don‘t use a storage for your kites. Also the massages are very expensive. All the day people (from spa, diving center, boat trips) want you to buy something. The food was delicious. You can have breakfast, lunch and diner.

Fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor, Cairo or Alexandra, or if you just wanna get some sun when the European grey kicks in after winter. El Gouna as a town/region has strict security so no street hawkers can come in and hassle the tourists. If you're only seeing El Gouna within Egypt don't think this is the real Egypt. Do recommend this as a part of a wider Egyptian trip. There isn't much around this hotel, but within the resort itself there is plenty to do to keep you occupied. If you're the type that likes to see the local area you might want to consider staying up in downtown el Gouna on the northern side of the golf course where there are some nice looking places to eat. That being said, a tuk-tuk is 10 minutes and £1/€1 to get there. We did all inclusive so it wasn't an issue for us. The food at Paradisio was the real highlight. Absolutely loved it. We've not been to Sharm but have had a few different friends who have and from what they've told us, fork out the little bit extra and hit up El Gouna. Make sure you check out some the extra activities like kayaking and snorkelling trips. Pro tips: - Organise an airport transfer to your hotel. We got ripped off by the airport taxi at Hurghada. - if you're getting a GoBus from Hurghada to Luxor, the local buses from El Gouna to Hurghada don't link up with the main bus station so factor that in to your travel time. Fortunately we have ourselves loads of buffer or we'd have missed our bus.

The staff was phenomenal. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone always smiling! Service and cleanliness is top notch. And the beach was beautifully kept. I can’t believe the price for the great quality. And there is a stop right outside to catch very affordable transportation around the complex.

Tolles Hotel mit einem traumhaften Strand. Wir haben uns zwei Wochen lang wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Das sehr freundliche Personal (von der Rezeption über den Zimmerservice bis zu den Kellern und Köchen) hat sein übriges dazu getan. Hoffentlich bald wieder - sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schöne Anlage perfekt gelegen, direkt am Strand und über die Straße ist man am auf dem Golfplatz. Extrem nettes, aufmerksames Personal und super Essen, da ist auf jeden Fall für jeden was dabei. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich Achmed und Mohamed (dann habe ich bestimmt keinen vergessen weil einen anderen Namen gibt es nicht :-)) Am Strand und am Pool gibt es jede Menge sehr bequeme Liegen (das Hotel war ausgebucht) man muss also nicht morgens um 8:00 Uhr die Liegen belegen und dann den ganzen Tag nicht hin legen so wie es manche Deutsche trotzdem machen (das ist das einzige was mir negativ aufgefallen ist, da können die Ägypter aber nichts dafür). Wenn man unbedingt was zu meckern finden möchte dann wäre das vielleicht die Einrichtung, die sollte mal erneuert werden.
