So much so that they didn’t explain to me that in the morning there was a back door you have to exit from, without knowing this information I found myself locked in the property with no idea how to get out. This made me very late for work. My room was boiling, and wasn’t advertised that it had no windows that opened to the outside. "We had booked a basic room as only there for 1 night but told on arrival there was no lift in that part of the building so we had to pay to upgrade so my husband could access a room. "Lovely area, the grounds are stunning. Staff welcoming one in particular a barman from New Zealand very friendly and helped us enjoy our drink and meal in the bar. The room was exceptional, comfy bed and chairs, spacious, lovely royal style carpet, even a little balcony. Shower gel and Shampoo top class. Spa - ok, hot tub needs to be a higher temperature and more powerful and lighting should be darker. "
