"I liked being greeted by staff like I was an old friend. They sat us comfortably in a cozy lobby area with drinks and warmth. To be honest until we got here I was not liking Italy at all. This hotel and staff was/is all the good stories I have heard about Italy. I liked it so much I changed our trip and extended our stay here in Venice another day. Thank you for letting us see the original side of Italy."

"This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Cute room, decent bed, coffee pods and machine supplied. Noticed that fridge and heating didn't seem to turn on but didn't need either. Handy cafe below with discount for staying. Would stay again. Handyman Noel is very friendly and looks after property well. "

"Room was clean and the property is beautiful with some beautiful artworks. Staff was nice and pleasant. The older people working there are amazing, and the young can definitely learn from them. Simon was especially wonderful. When I checked in I was not told about the pool nor did I use it- I would have liked to take a peak at it for sure though! The hotel rooms are comfortable but they sorely need a coffee machine! A Nespresso would be ideal. I would visit and stay again. "

"Ja es es war sehr schön-das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Bei der Hinfahrt vom Flughafen zum Hotel war die Motorbootfahrt schön € 230 bei der Rückfahrt war die Motorbootfahrt nur kurz und der Rest Autofahrt auch € 230- das war Nepp!!! Aber das hatte nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun."

"We had a 3 night break in Venice, and after looking at many hotels we settled on Charming House. We definitely made the right choice! Before we even arrived, Alice was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed arranged, even double checking a couple of days before to make sure our airport transfer was confirmed in case they needed to help us arrange one. We arrived a little before check in, and we were immediately shown to our room - again by Alice. She was absolutely wonderful...

"Beautiful hotel. Hotel staff are excellent and so friendly. They were geat arranging transportation for us from and to the airport. Hotel location is excellent; ferry right next to hotel and restaurants and Ice Cream shops just a few minutes walk. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for first time visitors."

Would have loved to stay longer in this hotel. Also 5 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. Will be back for sure if we ever find our way back to Venice. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Excellent service."
