"Superb position on a canal with lots of local restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful room overlooking the canal. The staff were all truly excellent taking care of every aspect of the trip. It was a joy to stay at the hotel and we hope to return soon."

The understated quality was evident from the moment we checked in when we were invited to the garden for a glass of wine whilst the check-in paperwork was done and our bags taken to the room. The happy hour, the helpful staff and the breakfast were superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of the beach tourist sites but still have a sort of oasis to which to retreat."

The room had AC without a locked temperature which was great because we could put it to as cold as we wanted. Issue: There was sooo many fruit flies in our room. "This is a lovely hotel in a perfect location for exploring Venice. Our bed was very comfy, the room was quiet and breakfast very nice. The hotel Terrace overlooking the Grand Canal was a great place to sit and enjoy a drink! "

"Venice is one of those complicated cities to navigate so it's hard to optimize for the "best location". It was a bit of a long walk and lots of stairs from the train station and bus terminal. Even if you take a vaporetto it's a winding walk through the streets---only a taxi could get you conveniently to this hotel. But it's in a pleasant neighborhood that's pretty chill and about equidistant from most of the things you want to do. Gondola rides are right around the corner. It's about a 40...
