"Following three failed attempts to check in on arrival due to an unmanned desk, the rest of the stay was excellent, mostly down to the wonderful Sunny whom ensured our stay was comfortable and with plenty of supplies due to the weather conditions. The only downside was a faulty light in our room which constantly flashed on and off during the night which disturbed our sleep a little. We reported it twice, hoping for repair or a change of room but it was a weekend so no maintenance was available...

"Very disappointing to arrive on site a 1845 and discover that there was no restaurant facilities and no bar available for a drink. The booking confirmation stated that both were open 11 till late, but it's actually 6pm when the restaurant closes. There is an expensive shop open to buy student type food, but we didnt fancy pot noodle when we were hoping to be dining in the restaurant. Very misleading information. "

"We needed a room to sleep and shower and this room met all our criteria modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of off road parking. "

"Electric charging cable available and family room with proper single bed and not a sofa bed. Some issues on the night, where some guests couldn’t get into room and was noisy outside the room whilst they tried to sort it oout"

"Very helpful staff. Our first room was rather small with a very hard bed, but they changed it to a bigger room for our last night. Some of the boutique rooms have very quirky furniture! The staff were great, and the breakfasts were brilliant. Would stay again - but choose the room carefully."

"Very friendly guest house - I was welcomed and made to feel at home straight away. I only stayed for one night as the Hilton Leeds (my usual place) was full. The room was small but tastefully decorated. The lounge is really nice with comfy seats. The breakfast was very good quality and well cooked. The whole experience was very relaxing and only 20 minutes from the city centre. Recommended."

"I was the convenient of the shops.but they were a couple of things wrong with the room The toilet flushing system was faulty along with the toilet seat which was loose. The room could do with a bigger tv on the wall so they is more on the desk to work."

"The entire house was spotlessly clean, we had the continental breakfast which was plentiful for us. The room had plenty of tea and coffee plus a kettle. Kamila was very attentive and has a bubbly personality and couldn't do enough. The TV was equipped with a Amazon fire stick, so I player, Netflix etc was available, along with Free Wi-Fi"

"A perfect base for a seven day exploration of the Yorkshire Dales. Brilliant to arrive back each day knowing we had off street private parking and secure WiFi for business needs and walking distance to a selection of eatery’s for dinner. Of course each day commenced with an a la carte breakfast menu, set in a dining room with beautiful white linen tablecloths and a most gracious hostess. All staff went above and beyond to cater for our requirements. Thank you. "

"Room was clean enough, but I didn't like idea of no bathroom in room at all. Parking too far from property didn't feel safe walking at night. Very noise about 03:00 "

"Stayed overnight on way home from Scotland and to visit the Emmerdale experience in the morning. Brilliant location to harrogate and restaurants, comfortable room and very good breakfast."
