"The gladiolus suite is a full blown clean apartment with two bedrooms, huge living room, one bath, large covered porch. No kitchen but there is a fridge and microwave for all on the floor to use. Delicious hot breakfast. Really impressive "

"Excellent location for downtown Springfield. We really enjoyed our stay. Just for a FYI, the shower and sink in Room 822 could use some work. Shower is weak, sink stopper is broken. "

Room newly but simple and basic reno, except not the bathroom yet. Room was spotless and functional and big. New owners are fantastic, but fixing up what had been a dilapidated hotel takes time and money so if you’re needing perfection stay elsewhere (& pay accordingly!). "I was staying for business/work. The room was clean and nice and quiet. Breakfasts were good. A lot of variety for food. Front desk staff were nice and had great suggestions for dining. I would stay again! "
"The staff and the property was wonderful. We booked a family room and had 3 little ones. There was more than enough space for them to get their energy out after some time in the car. We heard the breakfast was awesome, but it was a typical hotel breakfast - eggs, sausage, fruit, pastries, waffles, oatmeal and cereal. Not complaining though, just thought it was going to be a little different. Otherwise, will definitely stay again!"
"Everything was great! Service was very friendly. Great location to all of the attractions downtown. Only downside was we found ants in our room, not an infestation at all but we did find an ant in our room on four different occasions. Maybe they were due to have the exterminator come? Overall it was a great stay and we would stay there again."
