"I had an amazing one-night stay at Agnus Unawatuna in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The entire hotel was spotless and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and one of the best parts of the hotel was the stunning rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking views. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka."

"This was actually our second stay at Lum as when our flights were delayed we wanted a little haven to relax and enjoy our extra time in the South. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and everything about the complex made it feel like a lovely place to stay. "This property is a bit tucked away and not the easiest to access, but once you arrive, it’s well worth the journey. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to and from the main road is a thoughtful touch that makes getting around much easier. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, providing a good start to the day."

"The Fortress Resort and Spa is a five-star hotel. It boasts a prime location—if your travel destination is the famous "stilt fishermen," several such sites are just a two-minute walk from the hotel. From the hotel grounds, guests can enjoy panoramic, spectacular views of the ocean. The hotel offers top-notch service and world-class facilities. Its restaurant, however, is merely average; the variety of food available does not quite justify the price point."

"Everything was perfect, genuinely nothing to fault with this resort. Staff were so nice and friendly, the facilities were 10/10 and the food was amazing at their restaurant. The pool setup was very relaxing, overlooking a nice mangrove river with lots of wildlife. The rooms were also massive, clean and modern and I had a great 3 night stay here, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay here again when visiting Sri Lanka."

"Our stay in the garden villa was really great. It was clean and spacious with a semi outdoor bathroom. The pool area was straight in front of the ocean so you could watch the waves from your sunbed. Surf board hire was cheap with a large range of boards. Drinks were cheap and food yummy."

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is right on the water and you can see the waves crashing on the rocks. It is located close to many shops and restaurants. We had a delicious breakfast each day with a choice of Euro-American food and Sri Lankan food. We had a wonderful assistant in the person of Asuri.
