"Beautiful gardens surround what clearly was a stunning manor house in its day. Met at reception by a cheerful helpful lass who soon had us booked in. Room was very dated and tired and desperately needed a full refresh. A questionable mark on the bed valance caused concern. "The room was clean, the staff was awesome, and I don't business so, IDK on that one. I don't know of any shops that were close-by, we had to ride a bus for a bit or drive the rental for a little bit to find everything. It's close to the airport so no rushing the day of flying out. It was close to the main highway. That helped out tremendously when we left the south for Portree.
