The hotel was pet friendly and we were charged $40 for 17 lb dog. When we got to our room there was a very strong dog urine smell, and there were stains on the carpet. The front desk told us that we had been reassigned to the “dog” room. We were concerned because they told us there was $150 deposit in case the room was excessively dirty when we left. This room was already excessively dirty and we did not want to get blamed for that room condition nor did we want to stay in a dirty room. The front desk could not get a hold of the manager and so eventually gave us a clean room. in addition when we checked in, there was a problem with the $40 pet fee because we had booked through Expedia. The front desk had to call the manager and give her our credit card number over the phone so she could fix it remotely, which made me very uncomfortable. The second room we were assigned appeared clean, but I would not recommend this hotel.
