"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast!"

"Friendly bar staff. Food was good. Chef’s night off and they still made dinner, although they did make us feel a bit guilty for having a friend join us who lived in Bourne. Quiz night, so good fun. Room was clean but bathroom was up some steps which was a bit tricky in the middle of the night. Rooms were quiet. Had a good sleep."

Upon arriving at the hotel we were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that we could eat in the bar until 9pm. "Very quiet location close to all amenities. Stairs may be difficult for less able people. Garden could be lovely, with some work. Car park charges have Increased to £7. , not £4.50"

"We stayed in the Windsor suite with the jacuzzi outside and had a lovely stay. The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is very scenic and has a view of the lake. The suite was very spacious and was very well equipped. The restaurant on site offered a wide variety of food to a very good standard. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again."

"No issues with the room as usual, we have stayed there several times as we visit family nearby. My issue was the breakfast, as, ,although soya milk and gluten free bread was on menu, there was none available. Which is not acceptable if on the menu, when staff asked, we were told it had not been delivered. However exactly the same thing happened last time we stayed there. Not acceptable."

"My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh.
