Had a fantastic overnight stay for my wife’s birthday . We kindly got upgraded to a room with a hot tub which was an added bonus . We ate at the pan Asian restaurant which was delicious and the spa was so relaxing . We will definately be returning !

Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...

I had a nice stay till the bill had nearly £299 of service charges on and when my partner paid in cash for a round of drinks they also added it to the room trying to make us pay twice abit of a let down tbh

Pine Lake Resort
Pleasantly surprised considering what I paid for studio apartment. Well equipped, spotless, spacious had everyrhing we needed. Didn't use restaurant but was available, games room with pool, table tennis and other things to amuse kids plus small amusement arcade. Bar nice for quiet drink which closed ...
