The hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. The only issue was the Expedia team failed to send the hotel my reservation information in a timely manner causing a somewhat embarrassing moment at check in. However the hotel staff allowed the stay while they waited to receive the confirmation info. When I checked out on Monday the same issue persisted, however the hotel staff were able to work it out. Although it was a regular room, it would beat most "mini suites" of other hotels -comes with a separate seating area with a big wide desk plus equipped with microwave and frig with all the glassware, dishes and silverwares. The room was clean, bright and spacious. The shower is better than most other local hotels. As with other Mexican hotels, it doesn't provide a small "wash towel" but just bring your own. The gym is sparse but everything worked, but somehow they no longer seem to provide water nor towels...and worse, no "sanitizeing towels" so you'll need to bring your own also. All the staff was attentive and responsive. The breakfast offerings had improved beating most others.

The room is amazing - not only spacious, but equipped with microwave, frig and a VERY nice work table plus a sitting area - it's a mini-suite. The name (Stain) is unfortunate when translated to English. The property has all the great qualities and attributes that are tough and expensive to duplicate - location, nice secure parking area, wonderful room and a great look out (level 5) if the management could spruce things up; clean up all the stains-elevator area of each floor plus couch in the room (especially because it's a bed/couch!!!) and bring in new furnishing for buffet area so it's not so "college dorm" like. Finally, I'd like to see property install security cameras at parking entrance and parking area (more than 1).

Overall ok but needs some maintenance and improvem

Its a relative new hotel but it already has some issues with maintenance. The bathroom where the sink is already is chipping. Breakfast is poor.
