Top Ireland Northwest and Lakelands Hotel Reviews
Clayton Hotel & Leisure Club Sligo
8/10 Good
"Property is a bit dated but still kept clean. Location is not walkable to city centre so a car is a must if staying here. Restaurants on site were ok but not fabulous."
McGettigan's Hotel Letterkenny
8/10 Good
"The rooms could have been tidier and beds made up each day and tea tray replenished each day"
Cabra Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful castle setting, room was stunning, staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was delicious."
Riverside Hotel
8/10 Good
"I thought the rooms were nice but our room was right above a motor of some sort that every time it started the bearings were very loud. Also, there are 8 parking spots in a very small lot. We had to park about 1/2 a kilometer away and pay for parking. The food was good and the staff was very helpful."
Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, was there for a wedding so everything went well"
Tara Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very good, friendly and efficient staff with beautiful food for breakfast and dinner"
The Address Sligo
10/10 Excellent
"I’m not deducting a star for the rather unpleasant member of staff in the bar last night (Sunday 10.45pm ) However, it’s worth mentioning as management need to stub it out before it affects ratings. Unhelpful, unpleasant and came across as quite rude. It’s a shame as one of the duty managers made our drinks the previous evening and he was friendly and helpful throughout our interaction with him. The cocktail he made me was excellent. One of the best I’ve had. The hotel is lovely and well located, albeit parking is a nightmare. By all means park outside to offload passengers and luggage - you’ve got a maximum of 20 mins. You need to either park in the public car park 100yds away (chargeable) or at the Glasshouse underground car park (€12 per night) located nearby. The hotel has a few spaces but they’re always taken. I would assume by the guests from high end rooms. Our basic room was nice but a bit small and the shower cubicle was really tiny. All that said, we enjoyed our stay."
