"The room at the Carleton Oak Park was very nice and conveniently located. There were two restaurants at the property. We only ate at Poor Phil’s Shell Bar. It was fantastic. Their appetizers were delicious. The Lobster bisque was delightful. They served the very best Crab Cakes that I have ever eaten. I rarely eat fried foods, but, their lobster bites were tasty and I had a hard time resisting the urge to eat them all. Later for dessert, we enjoyed a delicious hot fudge sundae. Shuttle from the airport is confusing because another Marriott hotel is on Higgins Rd and they pull up on the same schedule so we got on the wrong one and had to uber to the right hotel down the street. "Bathtub and bedding were not clean. Tub had a black ring. Water was standing to the ankle during shower. Maintenance came 3x before shower was unclogged, My daughter pulled out hair from drain. There was black stuff in tub and wall after maintenance came for the 4th time. Hotel was booked could not move to another room."

"It has been many years since I had a room with no mini refrigerator or microwave! Room was clean except for bathroom door that had dirty fingerprint smudges. No extra blankets provided and sheet was so short it barely made it up to my chest. Card slot to open door was so broken that I had to make 3 trips to lobby to get the card to open the door. And the clerk acted annoyed because I was bothering him! How about me-up and down the stairs 3 extra times? Could be a decent place if owner would...
