"We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The large bath has some issues with being clean...maybe it is just old. Breakfast has a lot of choices, but half is Japanese style. The room was comfortable."

"I was a little wary staying at a shipping container hotel, but I was blown away by this place. Really everything was perfect about it. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you could need.The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were prepared to deal with a language barrier. It even has laundry and free light meals that were quite good! And all for a great price. Next time I'm in Karatsu this will he my go-to."

"We had the family room with tatami mattresses for 4 of us. Was cosy - had a good time with the family. Spa was big, overlooks the bay. Will book again."

"The hotel is situated right next to the sea and the sunsets are stunning. The room is big and quite comfortable. My only complaint is the toilet had a continuous noxious odour that may be from the backflow or exhaust of other units. "

"Old fashioned Japanese hotel, but clean environment. Free coffee on arrival and light breakfast was offered. Open air onsen was very nice Only issue was, there was no toilet inside the room which things a bit interesting at night when the human nature was calling. Otherwise lovely hotel with friendly staff"

"The checkin process was super simple. They have a tablet in the unit that you use to communicate to their agents. The agents spoke English which made everything that much easier. They answer the tablet everytime and quickly. Wish they had a bathroom upstairs."
