"Spa was underwhelming. Room sq ft was nowhere near advertised. Lunch was not up to par. The staff at front desk was not helpful. Rooms were outdated. Arranging shuttle to Forio or Lacco amenable was not easy. Five minute taxi from either town at night when shuttle was not operating after 9 cost 15-25E. The grounds were beautiful. Location was good."

"Every aspect of the hotel was outstanding except the fine dining which was appalling. We had better food on the flight over. Some of the courses were genuinely inedible. This despite a restaurant with outstanding service ambience and wines. Mezzatorre seemed to not understand that their guests understand what quality meals should taste like and how they should be presented."

They told us where to go, what to do, made reservations, and made our 5 days in Ischia magical. Also their breakfast was to die for. We will be back and we cannot recommend it enough!!!!!"
