"As frequent visitors to Cancun with experience staying at more than 10 different resorts in the region, I can confidently say that Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres has claimed the absolute top spot on our list. The resort itself is impeccable, offering a vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere, outstanding service, and excellent restaurants. What we love most is how beautifully it balances privacy for adults while remaining a fantastic destination for families. The service here is truly next-level. A massive thank you to our butler, Aaron, who was incredibly attentive, ensured we understood all the amenities, and anticipated our every need. Registration at reception was a breeze thanks to Luis, who looked after us with great care. And a special shout-out to Diego at breakfast—he makes the absolute best omelets! Our accommodations were flawless; having a room with a private rooftop pool was a massive highlight, providing the perfect tranquil escape for some quiet rest. The beach area is also pristine and highly recommended, whether you are traveling as a couple or with family. Excellent all around. We are already looking forward to our return this September!"

"Very nice resort for couples only. I made the mistake of bringing my young adults. It's a very boring resort, almost like a morgue at times. Entertainment is okay. You are in the middle of nowhere. No place to explore. The food (restaurants) are no good, disgusting. The buffet is small and serves the same crap everyday. The best restaurant is the Grill. Bring your Pepto you will be moving your bowels alot at this resort for some reason. My daughter got Ecole food poisoning at the Los Olas restaurant near the beach. She was throwing up for 2 days and diarrhea for more than a week as she got care in the states. To sum it up. You're not going to get the "wow factor" at this resort. And it's overpriced."

"The food in the buffet could be better but it’s the same meals everyday and no change. They don’t really have funny and party activities but they organize to get transferred to a different Riu for the party. Since it’s also an international destination I would say hire a few who can actually communicate in English or even basics- was so overstimulated by using signs and your DJs announcing in Spanish, which is good but the audience we couldn’t understand it. One day I came back a little earlier to my room and saw housekeeping washing glasses in the washroom sink - not hygienic and I was wondering what soap or cloth did they use. As a resort I think having robs is a little bit more aesthetically appealing."

"We had an incredible stay at Finest Playa Mujeres by The Excellence Collection, especially in the Excellence Club section. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — every staff member was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The Excellence Club experience was absolutely worth it. The private areas were peaceful and luxurious, the upgraded amenities made the stay even more relaxing, and the personalized service truly made us feel valued. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained with an amazing view. The food exceeded expectations throughout the resort, especially at Dommo and Le Petit Plaisir. Both restaurants offered outstanding meals, beautiful presentation, and top-tier service that truly elevated our experience. Every dinner felt special, and the attention to detail from the staff was remarkable. A very special thank you to Julieta and Elsa from Dommo for their kindness and exceptional service. We also want to give a huge thank you to the amazing professionals Victor, Emmanuel and Elias, who made our stay even more memorable with their outstanding hospitality and dedication."
