"Everything was amazing from the room to the pool and the breakfast was excellent as well. We liked it so much we extended out stay."

"Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! "

"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"The place is only a couple minute walk to Samara Beach and about a 4 minute drive to Carillo Beach. Both are fantastic! The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you select some great adventures without getting ripped off. The food is top notch (and reasonably priced). "Vincent was wonderful and took great care of us. We felt welcomed upon arrival and the room was very nice. The traditional breakfast was fantastic and we have had it 100x before - they just do it better. After check out, they let us hang and relax by the pool as we waited for our shuttle, not making us feel rushed at all - very hospitable the whole time!"

"Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. The location was great. Several choices of restaurants nearby and close to beaches. Having stayed at many places in Costa Rica I would highly recommend Hotel Amira as a great place to stay."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...
