"A very dated hotel. Welcome at reception luke warm with a team that seem disinterested in providing a welcoming friendly greeting to arriving guests. Many windows broken, rooms in need of a deep clean and refresh. Small amounts of mould and poorly repaired sealant in bathrooms. Towels and bed linen clean. There is very much a vibe of “how little can we do to maintain the hotel, how cheaply can we do this repair, how little can we pay and invest in our employees”. And that approach shows....

"I wish I had been informed at the time of booking or soon after that a wedding would be taking over the hotel and the room me and my son were given would be right on top of it. Music and shouting kept us up most of the night"

"Stayed here for the MK Marathon Weekend and was pleasantly surprised how good the hotel was. It's like no hotel I've ever stayed in. They provided a lovely marathon breakfast package for runners with was an extremely thoughtful touch from them. Absolutely loved my stay here, would definitely return in future."

"I rang them up to inform them I'd be arriving around 3am due to work. They gave me a number to call and the lady let me in. Lovely staff, breakfast good. Cosy room, no complaints. Thanks for helping out at short notice. "

"On arrival greeted by reception as if they’d been having a bad day and letting it show. Hotel is pleasant enough but I don’t expect luxury what I do expect a comfortable bed. My expectations were not met here. Easily the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Mattress must have been 20 years old. I resorted to pulling out the sofa bed at 2am it was that bad. Better but not a great alternative. Maybe I got unlucky. "

"Sent the same enquiry three times before arrival - no response. Arrived exhausted at 1am. Given a room key that didn't work. Returned to lobby for replacement plus spare. Back up to the room only to find neither worked and could hear people in the room walking up. Back down a third time to be given a shabby room on its last legs. All in all a bit of a dump. Not recommended at all."
