"Excellent hotel and pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent and wonderful value for money. The rooms were a good size, wonderfully clean and had everything you would need, including an iron and ironing board. So good that we are booking a return visit!"

"The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near."

"Bar with good selection of drinks, menu was extensive. I had 12oz Steak 👍 Room clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities. I had a full English breakfast the following morning well cooked and presented. With tea or coffee and orange juice "

"Perfect place to stay. Lovely pub & gardens. Room was great plenty of room with the added luxury of a small balcony overlooking the pub garden. Breakfast was great and although not needed they had reserved a seat for an evening meal which I thought was great."

"Food wasn't that great. Bed was uncomfortable. Shower took forever to warm up and when it was warm enough the water felt dry. Facilities didn't feel like they were good for price."
