The furnishings in the room were a poorly thrown together mix of old mismatched pieces. From the bed frame to the somewhat deco'ish desk chair to the art on the walls - reminded me of a night spent at a rummage sale. Is anyone aware of this mess?

Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville - Blount Island by IHG
This is the only hotel in the area with easy cruise port access. The only restaurant nearby is a Wendy’s. The hotel offers a transfer to the cruise port for $20. Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Jacksonville - Airport
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our only complaint was, it was noisy. The room above us had a person who walked like King Kong. Also, the doors were very heavy, and everyone just let them slam. The location was excellent !

The receptionist i checked in with was super nice. The waitress at the restaurant was really excellent as well. The bed seemed old and dated and the shower curtain was short and let water get out on the floor.
