"The amenities at the property are amazing, multiple pools, beach area, ocean front with great places for relaxing, walkable pier and Mariana with Harbor, Bridge, and Charleston views that are so beautiful they seem unreal. On the downside, this is more of an upscale property that needs TLC, cob webs in the ceiling fan over the bed, towels look dingy, walls, doors and trim need to be repainted and everything needs to be refreshed (room 440). "If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress.
The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. Overall we had fun but there is a lot of room for improvement."
