"What a fantastic hotel. The rooms appear to all be pool facing and have lovely big balconies. They are clean and modern with comfortable beds. Staff were cheerful, and helpful. The breakfast offering was very good. The rooftop terrace is stunning and the main pool area is very very relaxing. The addition of the heated indoor pool and Spa area was a particularly nice touch. In terms of location there is a conveniently located shopping complex just a 2-3 min walk away. You are not in the hustle and bustle of main Funchal - that’s approx a 30 min walk away. Loved it!"

"Would absolutely stay here again. The staff took extra care with keeping the property clean, literally nothing was dirty. The staff were Ann very polite and super attentive. They all spoke a level of English (which was good for us seeing as we don’t speak Portuguese). The room was incredible, we splashed out a bit and got a junior suite with an ocean view and it was INCREDIBLE. The amenities were great - we tried to make use of all that we could considering our short stay. Definitely book again."

From a birthday celebration at Avista restaurant to our rooms' comfort and stunning views to delicious buffet breakfast every morning to spending time at the pool. No little detail was spared and the quality of service was superb. The staff made sure we had a great time and had everything we needed.
