"Very charming place. We were lucky to be able to get a room for the night, and it was just what we needed. Great location, small town feel. The staff was so nice!"

"The front desk staff were very polite and helpful, as was the woman setting up and refreshing the morning breakfast buffet. The property is definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We were on second floor and the third floor footsteps could easily be heard. Fortunately the walking about the upstair room quieted down at a reasonable hour."

"The first thing our toilet broke they have fix by using a zip tie. Breakfast was not very good. Not a lot of choices."

"Although the room was fairly clean the property showed a lot of signs of lack of upkeep. Just traversing the walkway on the second floor you can the lack of maintenance on the property. You had to go to an adjacent building to get ice. No elevators were available for upstairs rooms. I come to town at least twice a year but I won’t stay there again."

"The Curly Redwood is a wonderful historic motel and a great value for the area. It’s close to the Redwoods and the ocean. We enjoyed our stay there."

"A clean, basic room, good for a night's stay for traveling with our dog. The room was fine, service was fine, but there's nothing outstanding about this place. It's good for an overnight stay while traveling."

"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. The room and property were clean and well maintained. It's located in a convenient area with CVS across the street and a restaurant/lounge next door. It's a short drive to the beach from the hotel. We would stay here again the next time we visit."

"This place was amazing! Loved the front desk guy who shared information on various things to do and food options. Food was great and cheesecake was fantastic! Waitress was super friendly. Room was spacious and hotel was super clean. Pillows in room were not so comfortable. Overall a great stay!"
