"Rooms and facility was very clean. Seems brand new. Breakfast was “grab and go” so we didn’t have breakfast at facility. Had dinner at the restaurant which was very good."

"this place is not a typical stay. its a room in a house where the owners live. the room is huge and rustic. it does have a musty odor but that could be from being close to the coast. no tv but for us thats ok. shoud be listed as an airbnb. good value for the price. off the beaten path definitly not for the non adventerous. host very accomidating. i would stay again because the price was right. romantic charm. give it a try!"

"The first room smelled of wet dog , they moved us to a second room the bathroom had mold on ceiling and tub and floor both were filthy. They said the room was just painted, they let us canx the 2nd night and refunded the the 2nd night money and took off $ 20 off the 1st night. The breakfast meal also was a joke had to find someone to refill milk and the cereal, rather than wait other guest walked out. Will never stay there again."

"Advertised a free breakfast with stay. When arrived told there wasn't even food at the property. Barely any hot water for showers. Floors picked up everything making it dirty quickly. No wifi at all. Ice machine did not work. Hard to figure out tv remote. Staff friendly but amenities terrible."

"Overall the property itself was completely doable… Rooms were clean and the property was quiet… my only suggestion would be a upgrade or renovation just to make it modern"

"The best location in Crescent City. Staff was very friendly and helpful. AC didn't work/was broken and rooms not very insulated from noise (inside and out), but otherwise a very nice place to stay if you want to wander around the coast. The breakfast in the attached restaurant was very good."
