"Nice place for the money. Quiet area, friendly staff, nice rooms. They have amenities for purchase in the lobby if needed. The only thing that was a little off was the ice vending machine was not working and the area where it was in was not 100 percent clean but was only a minor defect"

"The hotel is old and dated . The paint is peeling in the bathroom. The noise from the floor above is soo loud. Just the people walking across the floor and it was creaking so bad I thought they were going to fall through. The auto closing doors were not set properly and slamming shut!"

"Staff was so friendly and present during breakfast to help the guests. A cheery “Good morning!” and “Can we help you with anything?”, goes a long way. They even went above and beyond to bring pancakes to our table with a choice of syrups! Best stay we’ve had at a Holiday Inn Express."

Yet, it is described as a 'solo' room meaning it is for one person - We had to pay an extra $50 for my partner which I thought was odd!
