"Great staff that was very helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast had a nice variety"

"What a wonderful stay, everything up to par, glad we found it."

"I had a very early departure but they were very kind and made me coffee."

"When I went into the room, it smelled musty. I immediately was given another room. It was better. I don't know what they use to launder the bed linens but, they didn't smell good. The room was clean and the bathroom was too. The remote control for the TV didn't work well. I could only search a few channels until I had to keep on pressing the OK button for more channel options. It was annoying. The toiletries & coffee station in the room are very minimal. The furniture could use an upgrade...

"We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. Our Room was Lovely... but just a few things could be improved on..expensive hotel so I suppose I expected more... the was a wedding going on so there was loud music until approx. 11pm with lots of guests returning to their rooms making alot of noise. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place...

"The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to...

"The history of the hotel is amazing, the cleanliness, not so much. Hairs on our sheets, sticky bathroom floor, rude staff members, inadequately supplied toiletries. Would never recommend anyone pay $400 for this. Better places with better customer service in the area."

"Comfortable, clean room in a great location."

"Beautiful location! Friendly staff and peaceful and calm ambient."

"Highly recommend this hotel. CLean rooms with excellent service. If you want a relaxing experience this is the place. Breakfast was great and loved the bar."

"Gorgeous and quaint place to stay!"

"Parkplatz dabei und Lage gut. Zimmer könnten etwas besser in Schuss sein und Spinnenweben an den Fenstern."

"First class property"

"No iron, ironing board, refrigerator or coffee maker in room. Only 1 restaurant on site that had evening hours only. Room view (on water side) was very nice but room itself was very small. Lighting in bathroom (water closet/shower) was extremely dim and shower water pressure was very low. Also very tight space for toilet and shower. To be considered more upscale, we were very disappointed. The advertisements made it seem like it has more amenities than it does. Although very clean and...

"Beautiful and very friendly staff excellent breakfast and lovely afternoon tea and coffee. The garden was lovely too."
