"Rooms are a decent size and good facilities. Bar is great with a good selection of beers and spirits.
The food is fantastic! I have a dietary requirement and they catered for me and were very knowledgeable of the ingredients in the meals.

"Top quality hotel in a brilliant location, absolutely loved it here.
We didn’t find a better bar to have a drink in or a better restaurant to eat in, all perfect… with a wonderful view over the lake too!
The leisure facilities really helped too, the pool was a proper pool you could actually swim in!
My only (very slight) observation might be that it did look a bit tired in places, with a bit of paint peeling off here and there."

"Excellent hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, a fan in the room to help with the hot weather. Good tea and coffee.
Free parking and a great view of the Lake, close to Ambleside and from the room the mountains were clearly visible. Fantastic!!"

"The room was clean and the breakfast was good
The only issue was the stairs to the room as our room was on the 3 floors there were a lot of stairs to climb and we both OAP which was very tiring.
On the hold it was a good experience but we would not stay again due to the stairs."

"The room was quite clean and the instructions to enter the property were quite clear. Parking can be a little tricky as it gets filled up during night time outside the property. However, there are options to park your car nearby.
Overall, the stay was great as the room was comfortable and clean with a great view."
