"Elevators did not work!! Fire department was called to help elders down from 4th floor rooms! Staff seemed apathetic to the issues!!!"

"This hotel seemed to be undergoing some fixing up or possibly a change in management. The rooms were sorely in need of renovation and upgrades. The key to the outside door didn't work during lock-up time posted. There were stacks of furniture in the parking lot. We didn't get any housekeeping during our stay. The staff were nice but it seemed they could use help and were scrambling to keep up with everything."

"It’s a nice, solid stay. It’s more of a ‘motor in’ than a Marriot, so it’s a touch noisier, but well appointed, clean and freshly renovated. They also have a solid hot breakfast that we enjoyed. *the only suggestion I’d have (for management) is dispense with the ‘white-cold’ lights and switch to soft-warm-white."

"Great hotel in downtown Cedar City! Very close to a grocery store, shops and restaurants. Gym open 24/7. Bed was very comfortable!"

"I understand this place is going through a remodel, that is GREAT NEWS! The carpets are dingy, hall lighting is also very dark and dingy, possibly brighter lights and wall color? Brown pattern carpet with beige walls is such a turn off! Hopefull the remodel turns out amazing with much brighter colors. Nobody seems to want to be at the front desk, it is always a ring bell thing. Guess maybe not many guests? Overall, we will not stay here again, if just passing thru and you need a quick place to lay your head-it works. For us, we probably would not be interested in staying again-I do have to give kudos as it is a CLEAN place just dark and dreary! Even upon entering our room, the room darkening shade was done and no lights on! That was not welcoming. The clerk who came to the desk was polite and even got my points even though it was an Expedia booking! YAY!! So not all bad, just room for improvement. ;-) We did not have the breakfast or use the pool so no comments there. THANK YOU!!!"
