The Villa we rented was superb. On the water with a deck over the water. One of many Villas in Jolly Harbour. A short walk to the South Beach (Beautiful Beach). Great Bars and Restaurants at the Marina with live bands. Grocery store and Golf course next to the marina. We rented a golf cart to get around, but you can walk. Jolly Harbour is one of the best places in the world.

Having been to Jolly Harbour, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. The property was clean and kitchen well stocked. The area around the villa was well maintained with amenities nearby including a bus stop to take you to town. Only feedback i would give would be to provide a what on guide in the villa that was current. We had a villa book but not a 2024 What's On guide. I pick one up from HBK on my last day. If i had issues the staff tended to them and when Storm Ernesto came, someone came around to check on us. It was my 10th time to Antigua and 4th time to Jolly Harbour. My husband loves it as he an fish off of the patio.

Unacceptable number of problems.

The villa is best described as “worn” and needing attention. The list of problems is endless… No Wi-Fi for four days No water to bathroom tap Broken toaster (All rectified within sixth day of stay) I prioritised these three problems otherwise I’d have spent too much time complaining Light bulbs not working No plugs in any of four sinks Mosquito net on patio doors ripped Kitchen surfaces grubby Cutlery old and greasy The list is endless I’m afraid. I would NOT recommend staying at HBK holiday rentals at Jolly Harbour. BTW - the Antiguan people are still as warm, welcoming and friendly as ever.

Our Villa at HBK Jolly Harbor was up-to-date and provided for all of our needs and comforts. In addition we appreciated the functioning wireless. There were a few light bulbs not working and I would recommend bringing adapters for the electrical outlets if you are using US plug-ins. There was one US outlet in the kitchen which we used for all phones & computers. Beautiful place to vacation!

Jolly Harbour is a sweet beautiful community!

My friend Kara and I found this place and booked it 3 months in advance. We asked for two large beds and we got them. James was very sweet and professional. He gave us our keys to 401 B. It was very modern clean and comfortable. All the restaurants in Jolly Harbour are very good. Al Porto’s was our favorite. The staff were very friendly. Some of the best dining we tried on the whole island. The beach was stunning and castaways was a fun place for drinks and good food. There was also a sweet private beach good for quiet time and a swim. We both can’t wait to return. And Jolly Harbour is where we will stay. It’s also a 5 min drive from 4-6 other stunning beaches with tons of great restaurants and bars. Loved Antigua!!!

Nice condo, close to the beach and Jolly Harbour

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. very well stocked with linens, towels, beach chairs, Internet, kitchen items including coffee filters! What they didn’t have we were able to get at the epicurean market that was walking distance away! 5 minutes walk from the beach and Castaways restaurant. 10 min walk from the marina, and all of the restaurants by the marina. A great price for our stay!

Beware of Unit 248E

The unit was not a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. One shower and 2 toilets is not a 2 bedroom unit. The unit needs some major renovations! Cockroaches in the bathroom. Rental management company mediocre. Romeo was the only one that worked and had a customer service focus.

Location, location, location

Very nice area. Beach and environment are excellent. Villa (237C) is in very poor condition needs a lot of upgrades. No wi-fi. Beds are not comfortable, doors have broken hinges, main door dead-bolt is broken, etc, etc. The location is A+ so that all makes the difference. We did not care the problem of the villa, we were out at the beach and restaurants all the time.

Everything I needed...

My experience was very good. I just wanted a place to lay my head because I had family taking me out everyday. What I did not expect was for everything I needed to be within foot steps away. Some days I did stay or the property just because there was so much to enjoy and do. I will book here again.

Nice town homes next to the beach.

Staff was great, answered all questions and timely. Most of the Villas are dated and you may need to self-clean bathrooms on arrival depending on standards, but you want to spend your time at the beach and the pool anyway. Food is great, but remember this is a resort area and have the mindset to spend $75 a meal for 2 people with a drink. Get the golf cart for $20/day -- it's fun and well worth it getting around.

Jolly Harbour Villa Quality is Inconsistent

I went to Antigua in search of an investment property that I could also use as a vacation home. Jolly Harbour looked excellent. It is comprised of two "fingers" of villas, which Americans would call townhouses. One finger is in the north of the harbour and the other finger is in the south of the harbour. South finger villas are within walking distance of Jolly Beach and South Beach, which are very nice...beautiful water and sand. They are also within walking distance of about 6 restaurants, pool, tennis court, well-stocked grocery store, bank, car/golf cart rentals, and excursion agents. I not only stayed in a villa on the south finger but I visited several on both fingers with my real estate agent. What I found is that the villas vary tremendously from one another in terms of updating and cleanliness. Each villa is individually owned. HBK Villas appears to be the main booking agents, but there are several real estate agents in Jolly Harbour and they often act as booking agents for their clients. My particular villa was disappointing because it was not clean, was not updated, and lacked internet and a phone. It was central, however, as I mentioned. The Jolly Harbour Marina also appears to be in disrepair and a bit neglected. Landscaping is a bit shoddy, there is a grand old casino that sits prominently in the marina but has been closed for many years and is now an eye-sore, and the board walks are dilapidated. Recommendation: Ask for photos of your unit first.

Lo consigliamo e suggeriamo anche.....

soggiorno 14 notti: io, la mia compagna e il nostro bambino di 10 mesi. complesso ben curato, sicurezza ottima, tranquillità perfetta, servito da grande supermarket, piccola farmacia, negozietti, parrucchiere, bar e ristoranti il tutto in una dimensione molto umana (no grande resort). Indispensabile l'auto se volete girare l'isola. se invece volete rimanere all'interno del complesso vi suggeriamo comunque la golf car soprattutto se avete bimbi piccoli e passeggini (esempio. nostro appartamento/supermarket= 20 minuti a piedi ; nostro appartamento/spiaggia=30 minuti a piedi)! Spiaggia meravigliosa, piscina fruibile e servita di spogliatoi/bagni/docce. Diversi ristorantini all'interno ... un po' cari! Appartamenti: tutti su 2 piani- IL nostro IL N° 335/a con 2 camere,3bagni,sala/soggiorno,patio con attracco natante, lavatrice,microonde,forno,piccolo freezer. Hanno fatto le pulizie(no cambio biancheria letto/si cambio bianch. bagno) 3 volte nei 14 gg. Gli appartamenti sono tutti disposti ugualmente ma all'interno differiscono molto. Il nostro era un po' trasandato e disordinato, non molto pulito e curato.Il patio lasciato andare e sporco. Questo dipende da come vengono tenuti dai proprietari (HBK infatti affitta per conto dei proprietari veri che magari sono inglesi o americani e ci vengono 1 volta all'anno). Niente da eccepire quindi al servizio ed alla disponibilità di HBK. Consigliamo di chiedere di visionare l'appartamento PRIMA di prenderne possesso!

Room for improvement.

Close to the beach although the beach could have been cleaner. Sadly, cigarette ends, empty bottles and bonfire ashes spoiled the overall effect. The sea however was beautiful. The accommodation had a number of teething issues which involved chasing the staff until they were addressed. The village facilities were good with a good choice of eateries, a pharmacy and a decent supermarket. I believe the villas do vary somewhat and are spread around the development, so the standard of furnishings and fixtures is variable too as is proximity to the facilities on site. It's a decent location on the island and we would go back again.

ho soggiornato per due settimane all hbk le ville sono nella posizione ideale in un complesso molto tranquillo non ordinato. a due passi dal mare e da una delle spiagge più belle (scegliete la zona south finger) la pulizia lascia un po desiderare.ma basta chiedere e vengono a pulire la villa.non perdetevi le feste al ritmo di musica al castaway sulla spiaggia e il tramonti...

Not close enough to the beach.

Everything was too far from the beach restaurant and bar was closed for the season. The only restaurant close enough to us offered a poor choice of meals. I expected local food flavors and seafood. Which was not available.

Ottima villa vicino a spiaggia stupenda

Soggiorno perfetto. La villa si trova in un residence bellissimo da 5 stelle. La villa che abbiamo affittato aveva 5 posti letto. Su due piani con due bagni e cucina. Posto silenziosissimo. All'interno del residence si può girare con macchina per il golf e quindi trovare spiaggette solitarie. Altrimenti a piedi noi siamo stati molto fortunati la spiaggia principale (è la più bella dell'isola) era a 5 minuti di distanza. All'interno del residence, c'è un supermercato, che ha prodotti italiani e americani (così come i prezzi...). Il posto è davvero solitario in questo periodo (agosto) quindi per chi cerca confusione non è adatto.

Great hotel for family

We loved the area and the ability to have a 2 bedroom condo at the same price as a regular hotel room. The couch in our unit was filthy. We could not even sit on it. The remainder of the unit was very clean.
