"The lady at the cute front desk was very helpful during my stay. The gentleman who took my bags to my room, as well as operated the old-fashioned elevator, was fabulous. The room was just beautiful and so far from a typical hotel room that I felt like I was a treasured "grand dame!" I have wanted to stay in this BOUTIQUE HOTEL since I lived in Coral Gables in the mid 80s. Back then the restaurant and the side bar were very oh-La-La French inspired. "The staff was wonderful, the room was beautifully decorated, and the view was gorgeous. Short walk to dinner, ice cream, and shopping. I would say parents be mindful that if staying with kids, the pool closes at sundown, so be ready for that. Ours did not want to get out. Other wise 10/10 Recommend"

To be fair I didn’t notice at first because it blended in with the pattern of the floor but then the water hit it and it was clear. There was a nice glass out on the balcony filled with old cigarettes and water. I do smoke but would never use a drinking glass as an ashtray. I always use a closable half empty water bottle. "-Valet, servers, and bartenders provided excellent customer service. -Rooms were clean but you can hear guests in other rooms throughout the night. -Windows in the elevator were not as clean and had stains on them. -No mattress toppers available. Some receptionist at the front desk were not kind. Be aware of racism and discrimination towards people of different races and classes from those working in reception as well. "fire alarm testing and on during all the 3 day stay. I ask for a late checkout for all tje inconvenience this brought to us and all they gave us was 1 add hour. . Fire alarm defective and sounded several times at 3 am... then requeste to leace hotel... false alarm.. during the day before they were running alarm trst alll day. the day after alarm tests.... staff at the counter very rude."
