I would liked to have a desk or table top in the room to access laptops or store things. 2 sinks were nice and the bathroom was large. I would stay there again. The hot tub was out of service but they are replacing the whole pool area."

"In this hotels defense, they had no power due to an outage caused by a tornado a day earlier. We had no idea before we got there that they had no power. There were no vacancies in near area that had power. Couldn’t tell if the place was clean as there were no lights. No emergency lighting for the hallways so we had to use our phones to see in the hallway and room. No hot water for shower etc. the staff was very nice and accommodating by allowing us to move to a room on the east side so the sun...

"When I came into the town of Shipshewana at 3ish I noticed that the traffic signals was not working and found out before checking in that there was no electricity in the entire town because of a storm overnight. So I went ahead and put my luggage in the room and continued on to my destination in town that had a generator running. I came back to the hotel at 8pm and found out that it still didn't have power. "Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again."

"They should not be rooming people until the repairs from the tornado damage are completed. The windows are broken, the boarded windows are not sealed so who knows what kind of mold and animal life come through, including bugs. It smells like mold and weed. The water is brown, we had to use water bottles to brush our teeth and wash our hands/face. The towels are stained yellow. It feels gross being there, we left early.
