"This property was in a great location, convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants, bakeries and transit although a bit of a walk with a suitcase over rough brick surfaces from the train station. Walked from the train station when we arrived but took the bus back when we departed fearing we might damage the wheels on our suitcase. Room was spacious but bed too soft (sunken where you lay). Optional breakfast was fresh and plentiful and did not disappoint. Reception staff were pleasant, professional and willing to assist. Be aware that the bells toll every half hour even through the night. Sleep suffered due to being woken at 3am two nights out of three not able to fall asleep again. Kept counting the clangs waiting for the morning to start."

"we found the room to be basic, and the walls very thin. Our headboard bounced when people were coming and going from the room on the adjoining wall. The sink didn’t drain and smelled, The staff were notified and offered nothing to rectify the situation. I mentioned the issue(s) a couple of times but wasn’t offered compensation or remedy. The restaurant was very good for breakfast, snacks, drinks, and dinner. But that’s all the good I have to say about this place."

"There was false advertising. The pictures on Expedia showed something very very different. The bathroom sink was ridiculously small and narrow and the little shelf above it was placed in such a manner that it was impossible to brush your teeth without spilling on the floor. The staff was unhelpful we we complained about the false advertisement. They put the onus on Expedia, without showing any sense of liability themselves. Perhaps that is considered good customer service in Europe, but according to Canadian standards, it was awful. Also, some amenities, such a clothing iron and iron board in the room was not available, only on demand. The breakfast (which was not included) was both awful and pricey. I recommend not booking at this hotel. Stay away. You have been warned."

"Fantastic location, right next to train station. But, basically, this place is like a conference centre and rooms look out onto internal offices. Big air conditioning units take up space in room rather than them being integrated. Staff were friendly and resolved an issue we had with our first room by re-rooming us. Breakfast was ok. Nice bread /pastries and coffee. Cooked buffet was limited. We were excited about using the spa before we found out it was a naked one and you couldn’t wear a swimsuit- no thank you! Also, it came at an additional cost which wasn’t clear to us at the time of booking. "

"Beautiful property. Beautiful room. Very near the highway. The Nest restaurant was fabulous. We were there during white asparagus season. I think it might have been the best meal I've ever had. Only oddity was the toilet room. It was too small and you could see through the gray glass door."

"Great location - across from the train station. Room clean and well-maintained. Staff polite and helpful. Nearby tourist info useful for city trail maps and museum info. Breakfast buffet with a good range of nice cold and hot food (though the eggs and hot food could perhaps be kept hotter)."
