"Immaculate room, excellent location. Beware the difference between private bath and ensuite bath as the former is across the hall and has to be unlocked/relocked every visit. Only one room has a “private” bath The rest have ensuite. Checkin is a bit difficult as there is no onsite staff so it must be coordinated via whatsapp or some third party website ahead of time. The only annoyance that would keep us from visiting again was the doorbell to the rooms area that looks like a light switch. ...

"The room was great. Plenty of space and it was very clean and the bathroom was very clean as well. I really liked the space in the shower as I’m really tall and often in places in Italy it’s hard to shower. The host was extremely helpful regarding how to get around Palermo. You’re not very far from the train station nor are you very far from Quattro Canti where many restaurants are. I would love to stay at this property again."

"My stay at Abside Hotel in Palermo was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated — the perfect place to relax after exploring the city.
A special mention goes to Valentina, the host — she was truly adorable, kind, and always available whenever we needed help or advice. Her hospitality made our stay unforgettable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palermo, and I’ll definitely come back and book with Valentina again! 💛🇮🇹"

"Es hat ein Ambiente als ob man in die eigene Wohnung kommen würde, ein sehr schönes, helles, sauberes Zimmer mit Bad, Dusche und WC in einem typisch italienischen Gasserl mit Balkonen und Wäscheleinen. Rundherum ist man mitten im Zentrum von lauter Lokalen und Geschäften, trotzdem ist es eine ruhige Gasse. "Lukten på toalettet var forferdelig, så ta med luftrenser. Underdimensjonert aircondition, spesielt soverommet er veldig varmt. kjøkken i dårlig stand, men maur. Dialogen med utleier var tung, og gikk på flere forskjellige plattformer, og hele tiden var ønske om å selge flere tjenester. Plantene på terrassen har død for flere år siden. Flott inngangsparti for hele bygget og fin utsikt. "

"What a lovely space. We arrived around 11 at night by taxi and were having difficulty getting in. I phoned the owner and he answered the phone and assisted us immediately. We had the best sleep of our travels thus far. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect bathroom and coffee facilities. Close to the central part of town. Highly walkable."

"A slightly quirky hotel, but top notch all the same. Breakfast is served in your room on a "hostess trolley", and arrived spot on the time I asked for it. Hotel is on fifth floor but has a lift, however just be aware some rooms are up another floor, via a narrow staircase. I was expecting a small pokey room, but instead it was a tardis with huge space, spotlessly clean (and serviced each day, no questions asked), clean comfy bed, excellent en suite shower/toilet room, good shutters on windows...

"Stayed for 3 nights with a family of 6, including 4 children under age 10. We basically had two separate bedrooms - my wife and I slept in one with the baby in the provided crib and the 3 older children all had single beds in the other room with the kitchen. Both rooms had a full bath. Table and chairs, small refrigerator, hot water kettle, cooktop, sink, and tableware all included. Only complaint is could have used a microwave.
