"The rooms were very well maintained and clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful when I had questions.
The breakfast was fantastic. I’ve never seen such a large assortment of options for a buffets and more importantly everything seemed to be fresh.
I would gladly stay again if I had the opportunity to."

"The hotel was clean and well-maintained and well-managed. The room was small, but hotels in Japan tend to be (at least from my experience at four different hotels). I'm a small person, so this did not bother me, however.
The best thing about this hotel is that it is right next to the central train station in Kyoto! Lots of restaurant choices-- nearby, but also inside the train station.
There was a shopping mall nearby, as well."

"Pros:
- The rooms were spacious compared to most Japanese hotel rooms. It was nice to have a more traditional tatami style room.
- The breakfast buffet had an incredible selection to choose from. There’s a bit of a wait depending on when you go, but it goes rather quickly.
- Late night unlimited ramen from 9pm-11pm was also a nice touch. We loved being able to eat a light meal after a long day of exploring.
- Onsen access is really nice, with massage chairs available for use. And unlimited...

"The rooms was good size and clean with the tub, shower and bidet. It was very convenient to Kyoto Station. The onsen was wonderful. It was nice to be able to do laundry however the dryers are extremely slow. 2 + hours to dry small loads. With others using the facilities it was about a
4 hour process"

"This is my favorite APA Hotel in Kyoto and it's just a short walk to Kyoto Tower and great dining options! It's a very, very short walk to any of four subway entrances and the Porta (underground food and shopping) right by Kyoto Station. It's only a few minutes walk to the Central Entrance/Exit of Kyoto Station complete with subway, JR Rail, and Shinkansen service.
The staff at this APA Hotel are always extremely courteous and they really care about their customers. I have stayed at this hotel...
