"The hotel was in a great location, staff was friendly and rooms had character. Hotels.com advertised that it had air conditioning but it does not, it has fans. We came when it was 30C/90F+ and we didn’t sleep well because of only one fan. We understand more historical buildings won’t have AC, we just wish it wasn’t advertised that way. Otherwise, comfortable beds, great darkening curtains, clean bathroom and lots of character. We would stay here again, just not when it’s a heat wave."
