Hotel Pantai di Karterados

"We absolutely loved everything about Onyx. The room was beautiful and modern. The pool area is immaculate and many afternoons were spent here as it's incredibly peaceful. The staff were wonderful and helped organise car hire and taxis efficiently. The breakfast was simple but fresh. The location is perfect if you have your own transport but a little bit of a hike to Fira on foot. Local restaurants and coffee spots are worth a visit. No complaints. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone...

"I stayed 3 nights in a triple room in a newly renovated part of the hotel. Clean sheets, blankets and towels - new bathroom, huge terrace, good A/C. For the amazing price without breakfast I can’t complain. The pool was immaculate - no one uses it but a lovely large cool pool with a jacuzzi and nice sunbeds with umbrellas. Reception area lovely. Staff - Ton Ton, Kirsty and the other blonde receptionist delightful! Things to consider: beds were very hard in my room- thin doors in this new area...

"We had a great stay at Black Rock Villas. They were quick to respond when we had any questions or concerns. The hot tub was a nice perk and we used it a little, it wasn’t hot but wasn’t cold. About 7-10 minute walk to the bus station in Karterados and not too far from Fira either. A little added bonus what’s that Sofia arranged a traditional breakfast from where she is from, it was very thoughtful and yummy."

"Beautiful area near a cute windmill and church, not far from fira. Our lovely host arranged pick up from the airport and our taxi into fira for dinner, very warm welcome and good greek hospitality. Close to airport. Decorated to perfection with lovely canvas and ornaments."
